Her research on emotional gifting explores why small, funny presents outperform expensive “useful” ones.

Amber has one PhD, one Masters degree, one Mother who did, in fact, know everything, and an endless supply of gift ideas.

Before joining BuyTheMug.com, she spent a decade writing about psychology, marketing, and the awkward overlap between the two. When she’s not analysing dopamine spikes or running surveys, she’s probably gifting someone a terrible pun just to test the data.
